With a focus on empowerment and well-being, the initiative promotes alternatives that respect the body and the environment. It emphasizes the importance of conscious choices, encouraging the use of reusable menstrual products to reduce waste while offering affordable and accessible solutions. This effort not only fosters sustainability but also nurtures open conversations around menstruation, breaking taboos and empowering individuals with knowledge and resources. By blending tradition with modern innovation, the initiative inspires a shift toward more inclusive and eco-friendly menstrual care practices.

People
Through its impactful initiatives, the Pad for Pad program has reached 81,445 girls, providing 325,780 reusable cloth pads free of cost, promoting menstrual health and sustainability. The Pads for Sisters program has distributed 63,544 pads at subsidized rates, ensuring access to affordable menstrual products for women in need. These efforts are supported by 104 grassroots partners spread across 35 states in India, creating a robust network of change. The organization’s mission goes beyond distribution—empowering communities and supporting sustainable livelihoods. Its work sustains 33 women, providing them with meaningful employment and a sense of purpose. By combining education, access, and opportunity, this initiative is fostering a healthier, more equitable future for women and the environment alike.

Planet
Through its commitment to sustainable menstruation, the organization has made a significant environmental impact by preventing approximately 95.7 million disposable sanitary napkins from ending up as waste. This achievement highlights the powerful shift toward reusable alternatives that reduce landfill waste and plastic pollution. By promoting cloth pads and educating communities on sustainable menstrual practices, the initiative not only protects the planet but also fosters healthier habits and greater awareness around waste management. Each pad represents a step toward reducing the burden of non-biodegradable waste on the environment, creating a cleaner and greener future for generations to come.
